Lily Allen Set to Launch Her Vintage Clothing Line This Summer.
Brit singer Lily Allen is a girl of her word. After announcing late last year that she was putting her sizzling music career on hold for fashion pursuits, Allen is set to unveil a vintage clothing store and label called Lucy in Disguise -- get it? -- this summer, reports The London Evening Standard.
Allen will debut the line's retooled vintage pieces at the music-meets-fashion festival Vintage at Goodwood, which runs from Aug. 13-15, in the English countryside. And as you can see from above, she's planning ahead with a full-on photo shoot.
"I'm really busy in the office every day at the moment, sourcing clothes, and I'm really excited about my new venture," the budding designer, whose business partners include sister Sarah Owen and a few pals, told the paper.
To keep crowds under control, the festival is capping attendance at 20,000 concertgoers. Not that it's your usual rowdy affair -- there will be an entire lane of shops featuring new and vintage fashions.
Sadly for music fans, Allen is sticking steadfast to her original announcement. Her last performance, at least for a while, is March 7 at London's O2 Arena.
Meanwhile, the girl known for her crazy eye makeup recently took a well-deserved vacay from multitasking on the shores of New Zealand.
